HANNAH & BO

the head and the heart behind mountain light studio

We have done almost everything together for the past seven years. Falling in love while roaming the trails. Bonding over music, both new & old. Raising and homeschooling two kids. Taking care of our mental health and growing as individuals. Through it all Bo has always supported and encouraged me in every way possible. As my business grew and I started taking on larger events, I soon realized I needed help. So I asked if I could train him to be my second shooter, and he of course didn't skip a beat....

& THE REST IS HISTORY

but really more like our future. This thing has been a long time in the making. For years I've known this is what I wanted to do and now I'm doing the damn thing. It took years of learning, thousands of hours at work to save up for gear, countless memory cards, a trip in the woods, the love and support from my partner & family, and a life changing internship to get me here. Mountain Light Studio is a marriage of all the things I truly love. These old mountains, the art of photography, and the freedom I find in spending as much of this lifetime as possible doing what makes me happy.

HANNAH PACE

-Owner & Photographer-

A mountain woman through and through. Weekend bartender and weekday mom. Rolls around in the dirt and climbs lots of trees. Kisses the dog on the mouth and stops to smell the flowers. Would rather be in the wilderness than anywhere else. 28 years and aging like fine cheese.

MY PHILOSOPHY

all love is welcome here

Beauty is everywhere and within every one of us. Creating a safe space where you can be yourself is my number one goal. There's no pressure or judgement here.

Let me show you just how easy it can be.

MY WHY

Sipping hot coffee on a brisk morning with mom, side by side on the porch discussing life. Racing the kids and the dog down the trail to our favorite spot on the river. Waking up in the morning to songbirds and waterfalls in the distance. Climbing our favorite tree in the yard and my boys hand reaching up to me for a hoist. A lazy day in the garden. A fire in the fall. Baking in the kitchen with Dean. Skating with Yaya.

To enjoy life, while doing what I love.
